Bungee Jumping

As they begin initial consultations with me to discuss their mortgage, people consistently make it clear how they feel. I know these emotions.

As I write about in the introduction to my new book, It’s Not About Rate: The Right Way to Get a Mortgage, try doing a 440-foot bungee jump–on your honeymoon…. It was terrifying and extraordinarily exciting. Two (conflicting) emotions that most people feel when they decide to buy a home and speak with someone about a mortgage plan.

It is my hope that this blog will assist anyone who has questions that they are afraid to ask, questions that have not been answered, or questions that they should ask when they talk to someone about their mortgage. Hopefully the stories and ideas will help them make the right decisions and feel good about those decisions.

The process can be educational, smooth, and even fun. For many people, it does become a frustrating and painful experience, and often, unfortunately, ends with the borrower/buyer having to spend more money. Getting a mortgage does not have to be a scary and intimidating experience.

It has a great cover. The cover looks fun and also the color and back ground design is sharp and colorful. Thank you for sharing this with me.

    Richard,
I love the cover, and am looking foward to the completed book. I hope that it will clear up my confusion about the subject.
